Just read this blog post written by students of this year’s 12th grade and listen to the song they linked to it as a motivation booster!
How does school help us to find our own path in life?
I’m sure many of you ask yourselves this question, especially with all the school pressure we are exposed to every school day.
Firstly, teachers support us not only academically but also personally. Most of them try their best to explain difficult topics patiently, motivate us when we struggle, and encourage us to believe in ourselves. In this way, they help us grow in confidence and independence.
Besides, if you think about it, trying out science, art, languages, or various sports really helps you discover what you do and what you do not enjoy in life. Whenever you learn some content of our curriculum that you think is senseless or meaningless to you, it makes you become aware of your interests even more or shows you where your passion lies and, top of all, it helps you improve your discipline and pushes your frustration level. Just don’t give up! In every subject we learn about our strengths and weaknesses and discover new talents.
Another helpful aspect are special programs for higher grades that help students explore different jobs by visiting exhibitions, taking part in workshops and talking to professionals.
Last but not least, you grow socially in school with your friends and new students and teachers you get to know. We should try everything to make sure everyone is seen in our school family. Whenever there are hard times, we want you to know that we are all in this together.
All our school experiences guide us step by step in finding our own path in life and they prepare us for the future world helping us grow in so many valuable ways.
